AMSA 2008 Board of Directors Capital Hill Day
AMSA members prepare to visit Capitol Hill for the annual "Moving Day on the Hill."

As the only national voice for America's moving and storage industry, AMSA represents its memebrs on a broad range of proposed legislation and regulations at both the federal and state levels. AMSA's Government Affairs division maintains an active presence on Capitol Hill, with executive branch regulatory agencies; and through our state associations, with state governments to represent the interests of all AMSA members.

Through effective advocacy and action, we work to ensure that your concerns and interests will be heard and addressed by members of Congress and key decision-makers. As the industry’s primary advocate inside the beltway, we seek to advance the industry’s cause by raising awareness and support for AMSA’s legislative agenda with members, industry leaders, political champions on the Hill, as well as the media and general public.

Take a tour of the site: meet the Government Affairs teamread our policy papers, and explore the tools to contact your members of Congress regarding vital needs of the moving industry.
